How Much Do Santum Therapists Earn

The mental health practitioners at Santum can earn over R50 000 per month, depending on the calendar plan, time commitment of the therapist and the number of clients.

How Do You Apply

Enrolling as a Santum therapist is easy. You will need to complete an online application form and attach required documents. Your application will be vetted culminating in a short video chat (not a formal interview). Once you met the requirements and have been approved, you will need to complete setting up of your account and electronically sign our Provider Participation Agreement. In the next step you will start familiarizing  yourself with the tools available to help you manage the technology. We will guide you through the entire process, and will assist you with all your concerns. Once you understand how the platform works, you are ready to provide services on the platform as a qualified private practice therapist.

To work as an online therapist on the Santum platform you will need to have an adequate educational qualification to provide counseling as a behavioral therapist, have completed over 250 hours (or 1 year) of clinical counseling,  hold a valid registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa, and treating practice number.

• At least one of these qualifications: (B Psych), (B.Sc Psych), (B Psych Hons)
• Valid registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Adequate medical malpractice insurance
• At least 1 year of direct clinical experience
• Minimum of 500 counseling hours
• Excellent command of written and spoken English

• A reliable internet connection of at least 10Mb/sec
